Lukas talks to reporter Rudy Blair about how much his life has changed and his new album, "Prophecy."

Lukas Rossi both troubles and fascinates with his words and music. He excites the imagination with the originality of his vision and perspicacity but he also delves into the dark recesses of the soul of each and every one of us and dredges things up, and makes us feel.

“So many people who have been down the reality television avenue disappeared very fast. That’s not me and I owe it all to my fans,” he said from his home in Nashville.

The winner of the 2006 Mark Burnett-produced series takes another stab at rock stardom via NBC's new singing competition show.

“I always go back to my hometown,” says Rossi. “Always. I mean, the love in Toronto supersedes anything that I’ve experienced. When I was in Supernova, I came to Toronto for a show. It was crazy. I think the whole room was crying and screaming. It was really emotional. Probably one of the best moments of my life.”

Lukas Rossi might be a rock star in every sense of the expression, but the Rock Star Supernova winner is quick to look towards his fans when attributing his success.

He said the dedicated group who have supported him throughout his young career are “a firm reminder of why I’m here.”

On September 19, Lukas Rossi and bandmates in Stars Down warmed up the crowded little venue called The Machine Shop in Flint, Michigan for a very special night presenting a rare headlining club performance of Canadian band Three Days Grace.

Rossi knows quality...whether its acoustic or electric, there is no denying this guy can sing, write, produce and perform. “Hollywood” and “Hollywood Stripped” are exactly what the music industry lacks today, a true showman and that is exactly what Lukas Rossi is.

Lukas Rossi has an amazing rock sound that is truly authentic! You may remember the hit TV show Rock Star: Supernova comprised of rock musicians Tommy Lee (Motley Crue), Jason Newsted (Metallica), and Gilby Clark (Guns N’ Roses). They were searching for their lead singer to go on a world tour…and Lukas Rossi was their man! Rossi took this on his own performing all instruments and producing the effort himself. “Hollywood” proves that Rossi doesn’t need to rely on others to show the world just how talented he really is. This album has every emotional moment documented; taking us on the journey of the supernova band, the ups and downs of labels and personal life. The music ranges from mainstream radio singles to harder edges songs that Rossi is known for.

It’s not very often an artist comes along with as much talent as Lukas Rossi. He has always been a brilliant songwriter and vocalist but producing has made him even better.

The new album, Hollywood, has a very distinctive and original sound that is just amazing. The songs are amazingly catchy and don’t leave your head, but that is a positive thing.
