this week was amazing.....it started off with a phone call from some of
kendra's friends saying they were in town and they were playing jimmy
kimmel....they invited us to come check it out.....SIMPLE PLAN....was never really a fan before...as you know i dont listen to much music...but we drove over..we hung out for a bit and i had an amazing time standing at the side of the stage as they performed....not only are they great guys but they also put on a great show....it is so awesome to see Canadian talent doing their thang in America...go over to their myspace or something and send them some love.....i gotta admit it was a little weird for me being back there a year after i played...all i can say is i cannot wait for Stars Down to take
that stage again....heres some pics i took with the guys (CLICK IMAGES ON THE RIGHT). next...we spent most of the week preparing for my Listening Party at Hadaka Sushi which took place last night...There are a bunch of pics all over wireimage etc. but i'm posting a few that i took with my own camera....the party was sooooooo cool...it was so exciting to have an opportunity for people to hear and see what i am working on...but it was full of fans, friends, family, business people and press...I couldn't even move at my own table....i felt so much love in that room last night it was unbelievable...even tommy came to show some love
which meant a lot to me.....we ate sushi off some nekkid chicks....and some drinks and we also played the new music and within 5 minutes of me telling them to turn it up we had blown out all the speakers....you can see a lot of pix from wireimage etc but im posting a few that i took on my camera here as well.....so then we decided to meet up with my friend Joey DeGraw and his brother Gavin...... .I went to Joey's show earlier this week at knitting factory...we had played a show in new york earlier this year together but this was the first time i got to actually just stand and watch....it was awesome...joey is a great artist...anyway i had never met gavin before but he is a lot like his brother in the sense that they are both really cool and down to earth guys......gavin is playing a show here in la this week and i am definitely excited to see him play....especially since my wife plays the album nonstop when were in the car...you guys should definitely check them both out on myspace as well..
i spent today in bed recovering and reflecting....and i laid outside by the pool for a few hours with the wife.....and i decided that i have the best fans, friends and family in the world....thanks to everyone for making last night ...and my life ...so blessed..thank you....LR

I am so glad that you had an amazing week, sounds like you had a blast that is for sure. WOW...Jimmy Kimmel and Simple Plan now that is wicked, I know that it may have felt a little weird being there but when STARS DOWN kick off that will be you on the stage and it will be a new memory that you will cherish!!
I am so glad that you had a listening party so that people can listen to your music. I am happy that some of the band was there it is cool to have people there supporting you, the more support that you get from family, friends and your fans the more you will attract new ones. Press is always cool to have and I am glad that all went well!!
I am glad that you were able to spend sometime with Joey and Gavin Degraw it is cool that you just get to spend sometime with other peeps and also for you to just have sometime for yourself as well. Glad you had a great time at the show.
Glad you were able to spend sometime at the pool reflecting and whatnot it is good to have some fresh air every once in awhile. Lukas, you do have the best fans and everything because no matter what we are all going to be by your side now and in the future. You are just an awesome role model and a wonderful person and I am so happy to have someone so great to look up to. Never have doubts in all the love that you are receiving because we all LOVE you!!

It's fabulous you're getting to spend time with friends and other creative souls. *makes 'horns' with wingtips for Canadian artists* Can't wait to see "Stars Down" on Kimmel's stage and the major talk shows, etc.
Glad you had a blast at the listening party. We're happy TLee was there, too. "Uncle T" still gets that same look of joy and delight on his face when he looks at you. That's one of the awesome things about Tommy--just have to look at him to see what's going on.
So happy to hear you felt the love... I know your soul soaks that up like sunlight and you *shine* in a positive environment.

I guess I’ll start by saying that it definitely does sound like you had an AMAZING week for sure! Reading all of the things that you did made me smile because for once you took some time out for YOU and you don’t do that often enough.
It was nice to hear about your & Kendra’s visit with Simple Plan on the Jimmy Kimmel Show…I can just imagine the memories that were awakened inside of you being there again. You will be there again soon enough so get ready to command the stage and do your thing!
The “Listening Party” sounds like it was a night to remember for sure! I can only imagine how much love you felt in the room that night. You so deserved all of it!! I hope that the right people heard your demo that night before the speakers blew because “your time is now” so we need to get your voice out there for the whole world to hear. Once your beautiful voice and music is heard across the land the “illness” will spread like wild fire. I guarantee it!! I can’t wait for that day…it has been a long time coming for you!

I can’t believe that the speakers blew out when you asked the establishment to crank it up…that is what you call some kick ass rock music for sure!! WOW! Then eating off of “nekkid” chicks and all…talk about living the life.
The pictures from the event were nice to see…you looked handsome as ever and Kendra looked stunningly beautiful as always. What can I say…you two are one HOT couple!
Then to top it all off you hung with the DeGraw’s…what a BLAST you must have had, I can only imagine! I love the pic of you and Joey that you posted…you can tell that you two were having a great time. That is the kind of time you need to have more often…the look on your face in that pic said it all. It made me smile because I could tell you were genuinely “happy” and “enjoying” life. We all need to have “happy times” like that.
Your week was definitely a busy one, but a truly rewarding one also from what it sounds like. I am glad that you had the opportunity to spend time with fans, friends, and family. I am even happier that you got to spend some time on YOU and with your gorgeous wife. Life can’t get much better than that. Just reading your sentence about laying in bed recovering, reflecting, and then sitting outside by the pool with Kendra makes me “happy” because it shows that the simple things in life are really what are important. We all need to take the time to “smell the roses” sometimes because doing so will remind us of what life is all about.

You don’t need to “thank” me for making your life so blessed…I feel that I need to “thank you” because you have “blessed” my life and others in so many ways. I can’t put into words how much you have done for me, but just know this my friend…I will never be able to repay you for what you have given me. You definitely are an angel sent from above and I thank God everyday that you came into my life. I know that I am being sappy, but you know me…that is just how I am.
